To use Apple or Google Pay to charge your car, go to the charging page for the charge point you'd like to use and click the respective pay button in the Pay as you go pricing panel. Please note if you are using Apple or Google Pay, rather than having set up an account with Char.gy, then you will be charged a pre-authorisation payment of £40. Once you have finished charging then you will automatically be refunded the difference (so you only pay for what you use). Please note this refund may take 5-10 working days, if you haven't received your refunded difference after 10 days then we recommend that you contact your bank.

Apple Pay
You must ensure that you've set up Apple Pay on your device before-hand by adding a valid payment card to the service. For more information visit https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204506
Google Pay
You must be using the Chrome browser on any operating system or Chrome on an Android phone for the button to display. It will not display if using a different browser such as Safari or a non-Android phone.
You must also ensure that you have set up Google Pay before-hand by adding a valid payment card to the service. For more information visit https://support.google.com/pay/answer/7625055?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en
2. Accept the terms:
If this is the first time you've used this payment method with char.gy, we will ask you to accept our terms of service and privacy policy before allowing you to proceed. You can find those here and here respectively.
3. Start the charge:
Once you've accepted our terms and privacy, then you are ready to charge your car, no sign up needed! Please refer to our Starting and Finishing a Charge via your Browser or via the app Guides to get going.
