Char.gy offers a tariff based system as follows:
Day Tariff - between 7am and Midnight : £0.59 (59p) per kWh
Night Tariff - between Midnight and 7am : £0.39 (39p) per kWh
If your charging session crosses the tariff timings above then your billing will automatically adjust so that you will be billed appropriately for the power drawn during your charging session. For example, if you start a charge at 9pm and finishing a charge at 9am you will be billed at our day rate (59p/kWh) from 9pm - midnight, then at our night rate (39p/kWh) from midnight to 7am and our day rate again from 7am-9am.
Please note there may be some exceptions so please refer to the charge point page on the browser or app to see the price per kWh for a specific charge point before commencing your charge session.
Did you know that char.gy was the first Charge Point Operator to implement a significantly reduced off-peak rate so we could offer you cheaper charging at night when there is less pressure on the grid? We are pleased to still be able to offer a cheaper night saver rate.
