All Char.gy chargers will have a Charge Point ID listed upon them, or on the lamp post column just above the charger. The location of the charge point ID may change depending on the type of charger as we utilise a few different models across our network.
For information on locating a charge point, please view our guide Where is char.gy available to use?
This is our most common type of charger, located across the majority of our network. There are two types, but both will have the charger ID number/web address located at the top of the unit. There is also a QR code applied to the top of the charger that can be scanned by your mobile device.

Lamp post Simple socket Chelsea charger
These sockets are located within the Richmond and Wandsworth area of our network, following our takeover of ex-Ubitricity charge points. These different as the unit is contained fully within the lamp post, so only the flap for the socket, and the LED indicator light are visible from the outside. These chargers will have the charger ID, charger web address and QR code attached to the lamp post itself, either on a plate or as a sticker.

Bollard charger
These are chargers that are not attached to a lamp post, rather they are built into the pavement. Similar to our lamp post backpacks, these contain the charger ID and web address on the top of the unit.
