When commencing, during, and ending a charging session, you will see the LED's on our charge points performing different actions. Please note that the LED's may convey different things depending on the type of charger. 


Lamp post backpacks


 


Our lamp post backpacks have the LED's situated at the bottom of the unit. 


Solid Green - Charge point is available and ready to use.
Flashing Green - Charge point is preparing to charge a vehicle
Flashing Blue - Vehicle is charging or in a suspended state 
Flashing Green, Blue & Red - There is an error or fault with the charge point
Solid Red - Charge point is reserved
No lights - Charge point is not receiving power and is unavailable

Simple socket Chelsea chargers 



These are our chargers that were formally part of the Ubitricity network. These chargers have only a single LED light positioned above the charger socket.


Solid Blue - CP available for charging.
Solid Orange - Cable is plugged in and CP is waiting for authorisation
Flashing Orange - Cable is plugged in and CP is trying to establish online connection
Solid Green - Connection is established but charging has not yet started
Flashing Green - Charging is in progress *
Flashing orange then Red - The CP couldn’t establish connection. Unplug and try again.
Solid Red (after payment details accepted) - The CP could not lock the cable securely. Check if the cable is fully plugged in.
Solid Red during charging session - There is a potential issue with the power supply and the car charging settings need to be checked.
No light CP switched off for maintenance.

*Please note that the car will need to be locked to allow charging to begin
